NN: Love is the most important vibration that can assist spiritual healing. Lack of love for the self can often inhibit true healing for one feels unworthy to receive by conscious or subconscious programming. We will continue to attract energy and people into our life that reflect what we do not love about ourselves (our issues). These dynamics can affect our physical, emotional and mental health. Unconditional love is the key ingredient that must be found within the self to allow and accept spiritual healing. Self-love is not selfish - it is primary in the recognition of self-worth for overall well being. Each of us holds within ourselves the power to heal by loving ourselves (in spite of any shortcomings we may not like). Spiritual healing can only facilitate what the recipient can allow for themselves. The essence of self-love, self-acceptance holds the highest vibration. While working on our own issues, if we practice having unconditional love within us, we can allow our minds to become quiet. Serenity and peace of mind allow us to recognize ourselves as a physical Creator, capable of healing every level of our being. Love then becomes a state of mind, both body and soul. SG: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE COMPASSIONATE FOR OTHERS AND WHY IS THIS OF VALUE? NN: To be compassionate of others is to allow them to be exactly who they are - equal Creators who have the right to make their own choices without judgment. Compassion allows us to be non-judgmental, totally accepting of others. When we reach the level of unconditional compassion for others, our true healing abilities become apparent. We want to become more sensitive but less reactive to the things that we do not choose in our physical life. By allowing ourself to be completely open, we have the choice of how we want to feel another person. In actuality, about 85% of everything that is being created on earth today - we do not want to feel. The question then becomes: "How do I become completely open and yet still have a choice in my interactions with others?" The answer is to become invisible to energy that does not serve me, staying unconditional with myself and have unconditional compassion for others - accepting them and their creations without judgment. In order to learn to meet other people exactly where they are and accept their own creations, there has to be a complete absence of judgment and a complete presence of ultimate compassion. Compassion is the vibration that can help others heal and shift the collective consciousness today. NN: Kindness is the state in which we begin to practice love and compassion. Doing our best includes being friendly, gentle and kind to ourselves and others. Being kind begins the state of unconditional love for ourselves and unconditional compassion for others. Kindness is a state of mind that reminds us to be gentle, lighten up, find joy and allow the Light within to visibly shine for our outer world to feel. Practicing kindness by physical actions can assist others to recognize that feeling within themselves. SG: HOW CAN ONE INCREASE THEIR ABILITY TO FEEL COMPASSIONATE? NN: Practice being compassionate and loving ourselves first. It's often difficult to feel true compassion for others when they are merely mirroring something within ourselves that we do not like or have judged to be inadequate. Again, being kind and gentle with ourselves can allow us to lighten up, stop judging ourselves so harshly and begin the energy of love for ourselves. We can do this by doing what we love, whether that is gardening, singing, baking or some way of physically expressing who we are. Being able to recognize that we are a physical creator enjoying our own creation brings the vibration of love to ourself. That vibration is the key to having compassion for others. Each of us experiences in our own way; all of us have experienced the depths of every emotion on one level or another. By practicing the vibration of love for ourselves each day, we can achieve an understanding that allows unconditional compassion for the experiences of others, meeting them where they are without judgment. NN: Animals are unconditional in their love. They love us just because we exist. Animals only want to be what they are - dogs, cats, horses... They are also present in the moment. Unlike humans, animals do not continue to experience or regret the past or fear or worry about the future. Being in the moment, they do not need their previous moments to define who they are. They are content to merely be who they are. Other elementals in nature are the same: water only knows how to be water, wind only knows how to be wind, trees only know how to be trees... Allowing ourselves to in the moment, to accept who and what we are within that moment -and become the vibration of love and compassion... that is the true reflection of Source. |
