In a letter to Dr. Joe Powers, Founder of Soul Graffiti, the Dalai Lama enclosed a foreword for the revised edition of the forthcoming book, entitled, Soul Graffiti: Stories That Inspire Action. This book of inspirational stories of kindness is currently being reviewed by several publishers and will likely be published in the summer of 2005.

In his foreword to the book, the Dalai Lama shares his thoughts on cultivating a sense of compassion and kindness for all humans. “In trying to contribute to creating a better world, a kind heart is valuable because it is the source of happiness for both oneself and others,” He writes.
